Europaviertel

The master plan of the Frankfurt Europaviertel was created by Albert Speer the wellknown Frankfurt located architect in the late 1990s. The quatier downtown at the area of the former goods station will be a place for 10.000 people to work and 3.000 to live. The main axle is the Europa-Alle that crosses the quatier from the east to the west and starts at the financial district in the east. Since 2000, I have been following the development of the European Quarter with my analog Hasselblad medium format camera, always seeking out the same points of view to document the changes from there. In doing so, I also observe the people who are affected by the constantly changing landscape.

Seit dem Jahr 2000 verfolge ich die Entwicklung des Europaviertels mit meiner analogen Hasselblad-Mittelformatkamera, indem ich immer die gleichen Standorte aufsuche , um die Veränderungen von dort aus zu dokumentieren. Dabei beobachte ich auch die Menschen, die von der sich ständig verändernden Landschaft betroffen sind.
